The official announcement

The Michael Jr. family would like to announce the birth of our third son,
Jonathan DeWet Morton.

His name Jonathan means "God shall vindicate"
Jah, = (God) +(shall)+ nathan = (vindicate (recompence/avenge, as in Psalms 18:43)

His name DeWet is in honor of General C. R. DeWet, (b. Oct. 7, 1854, d. Feb. 3, 1922,)
(first Anglo- Boer war (1880-81),
Commander in chief of the Orange Free State forces in the South African (Boer) War (1899-1902), Afrikaner uprising (1914)

We are very thankful to the Lord for giving this son to us, and may we honor Him in the way he is raised - that he be a godly man.
