Ah, Thursday evening...so beautiful, so joyful!! After we enjoyed talking over a yummy breakfast, we kids got our assignments for the day, and everyone was excused; Dee & Noah set out to be together. (Grace acting as chaperon, with camera and zoom lens in hand!)
They went down to one of Dorothy's favorite spots in the woods, where there are these beautiful blooming trees and a creek, and they talked and talked. They were gone for hours, and when they came back down the lane, Dorothy had the most beautiful diamond on her finger!! We all hugged around, and cried and laughed in pure joy and wonderment!!! Phone calls and skype and emails went out to friends and family! Our two families were pretty much the only people who even knew there was anything brewing!! So it made the telling even more fun with the surprise factor. :) It is so precious to watch them together. Whenever you meet her eye from across the circle, it brings tears to your eyes to see hers sparkle so. Praise the Lord!!

The rest of the Sanders family drove down that evening, and we had BBQ in the front yard-what pure joy it was to have both families, all together to celebrate this wonderful event!!!

Something else I was thinking of. When you belong to Christ, your story never has to say "The End" Our love stories are wrapped up in His, and our love story last forever, and ever, and ever with Him in heaven.

That is beautiful. That is holy.

Sisters and Their Babies....

Hello, darling, precious readers!!
How are you? I hope you're having a wonderful day. I am having a splendid one! God is so good, all the time. Life in our Lord is so sweet.
Ah, the pure joy of having two such precious sister in-loves! And two such fine nephew born a few months apart...The other day we all got together and had a complete ball taking a few pictures. (Any photographers out there, as always, I would love it if you could share your knowledge and give me a few pointers. I know the subjects in front of the camera could not be improved, just the subject's mind that's behind it. ;) Thanks, y'all. Oh! and ta-da on moi's little name in the corner! Isn't that cool? LOL, I'm so tickled with it, and even though it is pretty cheesy, it makes me feel like the pros! Ha! I am laughing over here...anyway, it's fun. Hope you enjoy the pics of 'de beautiful babies and mommies, hons. )

Dorothy and Edwin's birthday!

Back in February (I know I'm a little behind in these birthday posts, LOL) our darling Dee and Precious Edwin-O shared another birthday together. What a joyful time for us to gather together as a family to celebrate the lives of two of our beloved siblings and children.

Blowing out the candles! Edwin was our 11 child, and he was born on Dorothy's 11 birthday! How cool is that. :) So, Dorothy and Edwin has been enjoying double birthdays for 9 wonderful years now. Aren't they sweet together? Just love 'em so much!!

Edwin asked as many as could to arrive in costume, so we tried to do our bit, LOL. As you can see, Martha and I arrived as slaves to Queen Dee, a charming colonial maiden. Here we are looking at pictures. Kress came as her delightful self! She's telling a funny story here. ;)

Dee, we love you. A family could not ask for a more encouraging, sincere, joyful, selfless sister and daughter. We are so grateful to the Lord for you!! Your comforting cooking delights our whole family daily, and we are so blessed all your wonderful gardening, soap making, jewelry crafts, sewing and many other talents! Thanks for being one of my best friends in the whole world. Thank you for being an example to me of a God-glorifying, Christ loving and family supporting daughter. You inspire me everyday. Edwin! What a joy it is to watch you grow up, darlin'. You sense of humor always keeps me laughing, and I love to watch you out in the yard with a stick, fighting huge armies with incredible imagination and skill. :) Thanks for doing so much for your family-from helping Daddy in the garden, to taking out the trash for mama, to "plugging in" to a sister to help, you are a source of much joy and delight to us. I love you. May you continue to grow in the Lord and honor your parents! Happy birthday, dearest little brother friend!
