Lusciously Busy...

...and missing blogging! Some wonderful times to share-an incredible Thanksgiving celebration, (we have so much to be thankful for-God is gracious) and then a delightful hodgepodge of pictures from the absolute best conference I have ever attended, all stuffed into My Pictures, waiting to be unleashed when time permits. Anyway, like I said, life is so full and beautiful and busy right now, but I could not resist popping on here to say hello and we miss y'all!
How are you?

Oh-yes-you can gasp aloud at the below picture-that is real snow.
The Lord gave us this little gift of the beautiful white stuff in Asheville last weekend, and we had a blast in it. Here's us, before the snowball fight. And here's Mama Love, during the snowball fight...I just adore this picture!
Oh, and since this is a tiny peek at the Love the Church conference, here is a crowd! :) The Lord really blessed our time, and I can hardly wait to tell you about it. We are so encouraged! And we got to spend some great time in fellowship, which was such a blessing. More on the conference later...
And a random picture...this looks just like a rose, doesn't it? 'Tis a cabbage!! :) I was so thrilled. Then I had that light bulb moment when I was like, ah ha, that's why they call them cabbage roses. Ta-da! This blonde no longer wonders... :)
And look what Mother found in our flower bed! A peanut plant, with half a dozen or so persevering little nuts on it. We ate them promptly.
And these are a few from our Thanksgiving weekend...The two M's in a shower of petals! And then two A's! "We're in full launch, full gear, full mode-hehe!" :P (inside joke)
We found this that morning...Our God is amazing! Isn't it incredible?
Pure Happiness
"You, maid! Fetch my spy glass! I see a-a--a very odd object in my glass. It appears to be alarmingly close. Hasty retreat may be necessary. Gather my tractor. We sail at this very moment. " Togetherness!
And then the rest of Thanksgiving weekend to come...
Alrighty, I'm gonna run-'de sewing room awaits! Having a ball with that, by the way. Oh, and today I talked to Abbi (my dear 'sister') over in AL, and so that was just wonderful-I miss the Sanders! And Martha is rushing chairs today. She's amazing. It was absolutely beautiful today... Perfect temp. We were so cold down here we prayed the Lord would warm things up and He did. We were just about to shove off to the Bahamas... :D LOL, I'm so grateful!
We attended the funeral of a dear friend's mother today. We're praying for them, and love them so! And I got to see our friend's new baby girl for the first time. She is completely beautiful. But of course her mommy is, so what can one expect? :) They are such a blessing to us.

And the three of our sibling married couples (that live here on the farm) and their precious progeny are all up to Griffin for a Christmas party! I know they'll have a great time. I love having the window open in the sewing room and hearing all the sweet and hilarious sounds that grandchildren make. :) It is too funny! You would get a huge kick out of it. I'll miss their little noises...
Opps...sorry for all the verbiage-OK, hons, I'm going, this time for real. Goodnight and sleep wonderfully well, dear reader!
Love y'all!
Addie Grace

Hello Adeline and Martha,

I'm so glad we met last week at LTC. You're both such sweethearts, and I hope we get to visit again sometime soon. God bless you all!

Love the snow pictures! Here in the south east of England we have had heavy snow too, which really is most unusual for us. In fact as I write it is snowing hard and it looks like we will be having a white Christmas in London for the first time in years.
The conference sounds very interesting and we look forward to reading all about it. Rob and I are hoping that they will release MP3s of the talks.
I must tell you that this weekend we will be making ‘Morton Eggnog’ from the recipe you posted way back in 2006. Do you know, we had never tasted it until we tried your recipe all those years ago and it has now become one of our Christmas traditions. Utterly delicious!

I am so happy to see a post from the Morton's!

I saw photos of the conference on the Live Blogging site and saw your family in a photo! Oh, how I wish my girls could meet you! I am sure you would all like each other...I guess we will need to go to some of these events!

Have a Very Blessed Christmas!
