We enjoyed talking with so many precious young ladies-what joy!

(as soon as I learn how to use my poor abused camera, I can get eveyone in focus, LOL. Bless my heart. And Hannah I love that turquoise color of your scarf! Thanks for all the clothing inspiration, Z. girls-that is one of THE funnest topics ever, I think! :) Love it...) Martha dear visiting!
"When all else fails, switch to power tools." :D (Alyssa and Mariah, please laugh at that one for me...miss y'all! ;)

(I see that red beret, Christiana! Loved all you K. ladies' hats that weekend...)
Visiting...
And more meeting and visiting...

The K.'s kindly walked Marth and I back to our room. We were some of the last to leave (around 2:00! Gracious...) and they were so sweet to escort us! We bid them and other dear friends goodnight, and then hopped in bed, ate some more kettle corn and talked together for a while... (Yikes!! Has the kettle corn caught on fire??? Ah, no, it's another post. What a relief!)Another time, the Sheats family invited a bunch of folks up to the fire ring, where they had this huge feast all spread out, with hot dogs to roast, chips, marshmallow, s'mores...they were so sweet and hospitable, and we had a great time huddled around the fire after supper singing Christmas carols...many thanks to their gracious family for a delightful evening...

Above: a picture of the fire. I was trying to get one of those artsy flame pictures, but failed. So, here's a blur and sparks. And, because I despise flash, I didn't use it, and the below is one that was not (as) blurry as the others-
(while the quality is poor) I think this is such a sweet picture of dear Emily and her Dad...fathers and daughters are so precious!
Our own dear Daddy speaking with a gentleman he met...
And here's another one of the entire Kendall family singing together-beautiful.
I'm not sure who this cutie is, but he was in front of us, this tiny child, fresh from toddlerhood, with this camera (that was almost as big as he was) snapping away, manually adjusting settings to get the prefect picture he was after. Felt like a peon, 19 years old, right being him, fumbling around on "A" with an exposingly slow shutter speed click, deleting more then I took and finally getting one after 5 minutes...Ah, the humbling.........

Went up and spoke to him about photography after the session, and learned allot.
