Then we headed to The Cowpens battlefield, where a small group of gentlemen were doing some fascinating demonstrations. Their costumes were incredible!!

All the old shoes that day were amazing-beautiful in their own unique way.
And this man's shoes were awesome. What glorious, rugged aplomb.

We had the greatest time talking with them afterwards-they were hilarious, and very kind to answer our many questions. They made one of my favorite pictures from the weekend!Bayonet.
