Recent Tid-bits

Good evening, my dear (and poorly neglected) readers!!

Ah, How I've missed writing to you the past week or so! I hope all of you are well.

Life has been very full and sweet lately. So many amazing things happening, so many transitions. So many firsts, but then there're the lasts that happen at the same time. Praise the Lord for the joy of these wonderful new seasons, and the comfort He gives to us when we have to part with the one that is ending.

Ah. Wow.

Anyway, here's a delightful hodge-podge of life around Calathora the past few weeks...
Wonderful summer blooms...
Our incredible, Mathematician of the Millennium and His Wonderful Assistant Nana Dear came down for a visit a few weeks back, and we kids had the privilege of being tutored for the afternoon by one of the best teachers I've even known, my Grand Dad. He is super smart, and explains things so simply. I love him so!! We enjoyed it so much, and can't wait for the next lesson! (hear that, Grand Daddy? When's the next one?! ;) Miss you and Nana so....The moon had the most interesting color around it the other evening. Here it is, rising above my three trees...stunning. The other day Mumsie dearest took us three girls to get a pedicure and manicure!! She is so sweet. It was our first time at the nail salon , and we had a blast, and are enjoying our new glossy nail polish and silky feeling feet so much. Above is before...
...and here is after! Thank you, Mama dear!
The guys practicing a special something. :D It's awesome, y'all!Dorothy picking out her silver. :) I always love to watch my siblings choose from the different patterns from Daddy and Mama's delicious stash. They are so sweet and good!Pattern detail
My darling Stead-stir! Counting out fake money from a board game. Hummm...or maybe that's real...never know with Steady. ;)
It is advised to stay at least 10 feet away from this towel snapper.
My camera captures the reflection of the reflection. Cool!
Wedding magazines!! Always so much fun. :) The whole flock of fabric butterflies alighting on the skirt of one gown was a little much, but the centerpieces for some of the tables were brilliant. Might not use them for a wedding, but the ideas had so much potential...
